The dark, cloudy night made everything melancholy. Hino stared intensively at his phone, Drakath watched at the flow of traffic as they went by, Nara and Saya are in their rooms sleeping, Genin reads a book on world domination. Drakath breaks the silence by asking Hino a disturbing question, "Hino, I'm bored out of my mind I want to kill, I want to feel alive." Hino stares at Drakath as if he had devoured the head of an infant and finally asks, "Why are you so eager to take the life of another? I have enlisted in the Syndicate for means to an end not even my wife can comprehend. Get some sleep I will take the next assignment, alone." Drakath stormed out of the room out of anger and frustration. Genin put a purple bookmark in her book and closed it, she set it in her chair, walked over to Hino and kissed his soft lips and asked, "Hino you seemed irritated, are you alright?" Hino answered, "It's nothing I –" Hino was interrupted by his phone playing a metal guitar solo, Hino picked it up and it was Tanaguchi. Hino answered, "Hino speaking." Tanaguchi replied, "Hino I have some great news, the Syndicate has no assignments for you at the moment so you have a few weeks off from work, Tanaguchi out" Before Hino could ask what was going on the phone clicked off, then the doorbell rang and Hino said, "Ok this should be interesting." Hino looked through the peephole and to his surprise it was Enraiha, Drakath's zanpakuto, and Hino opened the door. Enraiha looked like she had cried for hours, her makeup was ruined, her eyes were red from crying, and she had been shaking. Hino gave her sympathy and asked, "Are you looking for Drakath?" Enraiha nodded, Hino continued, "Drakath forgot something, didn't he?" Enraiha nodded. Hino tried to stay calm when he said, "I'll go get him." Hino walked to the guest room, opened the door, dragged Drakath by his hair, brought him to Enraiha's heels and exclaimed, "Drakath Agayashi where is your honor?! You made plans and forgot them, I am ashamed!" Genin said, "Hino, calm down." Hino obeyed and let go of Drakath's hair and continued, "Explain yourself." Before Drakath could answer Hino's phone rang and woke Nara. As Hino answered the phone Nara walked in the room and asked, "What's going on?" Genin replied, "Nothing Nara, return to sleep." Nara was so exhausted he said, "I like turtles." Nara walked out of the room and went back to sleep. Genin turned her head towards Hino and he spoke in a different voice; raspy and ghost-like. His eye color had changed from crimson red to golden yellow, he finally spoke, "I'll be there." Hino picked up his wing pendant and headed towards the door then left. Silence filled the house until Drakath said, "Enraiha I'm sorry I forgot our date, I'll make it up to you tomorrow I promise." Enraiha smiled and spoke, "I'll take you up on your promise Drakath." She kissed him on the forehead and flashed home. Drakath sighed and told Genin, "It's getting late I'm going to sleep, night Genin." Drakath left the room leaving Genin whispering to herself, "He's back" she continued, "Hino's father is back."
