Chapter 2 "Odd New School"
Doing stuff on your phone makes time fly by quick. It felt like I was on the bud for only 10 seconds. But I know it was a way longer drive than that. We went through the bus loop and the bus driver dropped us off. When I passed him up I heard him say super queity "Stupid kids have no business being on Earth." I thought real bad about him now. He needs to be fired from his job. When I got off the bus, I didn't expect what I saw. That was only but about 55 kids standing around waiting for the bell. "What kind of school has only this many people in total?" I thought. Maybe everyone all died. I laughed at that thought. This was the weirdest city Iv'e ever lived in. Finally the bell rang and everyone went to their classes. As I walked to my classroom, which the teacher so happens to be Mr. Mufflin, I saw a fat kid running in the hallway. He had red hair, a blue shirt, jeans, and very small blue shoes. "Very small feat for a big boy." I thought. I caught up with him and seemed like he was in the same class as me. He kept on running with his arms out saying, "Wha wha wha wha wha!" Weird. As I let the weirdo in the door first, I paused and then went in. And was that class crazy. Everyone was out of their seat standing on their desk throwing paper balls at each other screaming like little kids. But the only person I saw normal and mature was a red headed kid reading a book, ignoring the class. I felt sorry for him. I inched slowly to the teacher's desk, where I hears the teacher say repeatly, "12 years of retirement." Suddenly he knew my appearance and shuted up the class. I was amazed how quiet the class got. Mr Mufflin began, "Class, this is our new student Jade." I blushed. I get very shy when I get introduced to new people. "Jade, do you have to say anything to the class?" He asked. I began off slowly, "Oh uh well umm uh I really don't. Just, hi to everyone, that's all!" I smiled a little bit but got embarresed. "So where shall I sit?" I asked the teacher. "Oh ummm anywhere you want I guess." He told me. I shrugged. I started walking and I tried to find a seat closest to the normal kid. I sat behind these weird kids dressed in superhero costumes who sat with Mr. Normal. They seemed weirder than that chubby kid. These 2 kept on turning around waving at me saying hi Jade. It got very annoying. Suddenly Mr. Normal bursted out, " Will you ninnies knock it off! Everyone new you meet you always do this crap." He turned to me. "Please just ignore these immature bafoons. They can't seem to get their selfs together." "I can tell." I blushed as I said that to him, loving that British accent. It has always been my favorite accent. "Oh we're sorry Kyle, but we like new people." The cute chubby one said. The tall skinny one giggled. Kyle rolled his eyes and continued reading. I glanced over at the book to see what he was reading. I thought I was seeing different letters but I blinked my eyes and saw the same thing in the book. If he's British, then what language is he reading? I noticed a black cape on top of his red and yellow stripped shirt. He also wore dark blue jeans with red hy top shoes matching his hair. "So what's your name?" I asked the "superheroes". " I'm Fanboy!" Said the tall skinny one. "And I'm ChumChum!" Said the other one. I knew that wasn't their real names. But ChumChum sounded familiar to me. I heard I from somewhere. I looked around the room and that happy girl was in this class. And I remembered what she said about ChumChum. I guess this little kid is who she was talking about. He looks cute though. "So Jade you wanna hang over at the fanlair this afternoon?" Fanboy asked. "Sure where is that?" I asked. They giggled. "Just look at the watertower that is decorated!" Shouted ChumChum. "Okay then?" I was cofused. They live in a water tower? How does this town even let them do that? This town is very weird.
