Rain
Part One – Zuko
Zuko was standing in the Royal Palace's garden – the one with the pond and the turtleducks – the one his mother loved.
Originally he wanted to go ouside to let his anger free, to firebend it away, but now he was standing in the rain.
It dripped on the water's surface causing small circles to spread.
He was calmer than he was as he got away from Azula – the rain calmed him.
He liked the rain, although it was dimming his firebending, letting small slivers of mist appear.
He practiced firebending just for the bending itself.
Every time he got soaked too much, he raised his body temperature and vaporized the water.
He was going through an advanced set as he thought he saw something – someone.
After he blinked there was nothing, nothing but himself standing in the rain.
He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment.
The rain was doing this to him.
Keeping him calm but always hoping – praying – for a glimpse of blue to appear.
