"L.I.F.E." A Novel
"Love Is Faithfully Eternal"
Preface
"If I don't know the significance of my art, it doesn't imply that it has none"- Salvador Dali
I'm not here to entertain you, or to create a story. I'm here to write my own story and to heal past wounds, some of them already forgotten. This is my story, the story of my life, a story I would like to share with you. Though, the fact that you will like this story or not is none of my business.
Now, let me introduce myself. My name is Cassie and I'm too naive. I live in a world where trust is hard to achieve, where deceitfulness is hiding in every corner and where the most honest person is the one who ends up badly hurt in the end. This world made me this way, and made me what I am right now. And I'm a teenage girl about to get a good lesson in life.
Lies, what a horrible word. But, they are always there, waiting, hidden in every word, even in believe. They are always waiting for the right time to strike. Being lied to feels like being stabbed in the back with a rusty knife making us bleed until we die. But, it is said that what does not kill us, only makes us strangers. Or was it stronger? I don't know, I can't remember right now. Who said that life was fair anyway? Who said that life was easy? Well, I'm here to explain to you why my life was, is and will be always hard.
This is an entry to my mind, my unconscious, my thoughts and my existence. Read it at your own risk.
Next chapter White Houses: the meeting of my new friends.
