"Midnight Visitor''
She sat alone in the living room of her house smoking a cigarette and watching television. The end of her cigarette lit up as she breathed it in. She took the cigarette out of her mouth and blew the smoke out of her lungs and in to the air. Not far from her in a tree outside a certain three eyed fire demon was watching her.
Hiei looked at her through the window and sighed. The rain beat down on him and he closed his eyes. Atsuko Urameshi was not a very close friend of his , but her son was. So Atsuko had Hiei come by every week for a progress report on his training in demon world with Raizen. Hiei jumped down from the tree and walked up to the front door.
He knocked on the door and waited patiently. The door opened a few seconds later and Atsuko stood before him holding a cigarette in her right hand.
"Oh , it's you ,'' Atsuko said , "Come in , Hiei.''
Hiei nodded and walked in to the house. He shut the door behind him and fallowed Atsuko in to the living room where he made himself a seat on the window sill and looked at her. Atsuko looked at him and then put her cigarette out in the ashtray lying in front of her on a table.
"So how's my son doing with his father ? ,'' Atsuko asked.
At first the fire demon was silent. Hiei looked at the ashtray and then looked back out the window.
"He's improving ,'' was his reply.
"That's good ,'' Atsuko said , "Is he okay ?''
"He's fine ,'' Hiei stated.
"Good ,'' she replied , "Now I can tell Keiko and she can stop worrying.''
"Dose he know ? ,'' Hiei asked , "About you and me ?''
"No ,'' Atsuko said , "I would prefer to tell him after he comes back from Demon World.''
"Very well ,'' he stated , "If that is your wish.''
Next Hiei walked over to Atsuko and placed a good firm kiss on her lips.
