Chapter 1
It's the morning that Miley is leaving to go off to college when Lorelai wakes up and sits up in bed and its still dark out and takes a deep breath and looks down at a sleeping Robbie Ray and smiles softly and then looses it and grabs the boxes of tissues on the nightstand next to her bed.
"Lorelai?" Robbie says in his sleep feeling the bed and feels her leg
"shh right here sweetie go back to sleep." she tells him
Robbie ray opens his eyes and immediately sits up "awe baby what's wrong?" he wonders
"it's nothing...it's just that Rory is out in the real world and Jackson has Seanna and will be starting thier own family soon and Miley is going off to college and we have no babies left in the house.
"awe hunnie Mil be fine." Robbie tells her rubbing her back
Lorelai just nods "I know." she tells him
"come back to bed." Robbie tells her
Lorelai just shakes her head "no won't be able to go back to sleep." she sniffles
"I'm just going to miss that little girl so much and she's so great;
"I know." he tells her and smiles
"She's so grown up now and I have watched her grow up since she was 3 years old." Lorelai tells him
"I know sweetie." Robbie says
"it's like losing another best friend." she tells him
"well you always have me." he tells her
"I know." Lorelai tells him
"were you this distraught when we sent Rory off to college?" he wonders
"for like the first few nights or weeks yes." she tells him
Robbie tries to lay her back down with him and just holds her tight
Lorelai just snuggles into him.
Robbie kisses at her forehead and head to try and comfort her.
Lorelai hands onto his chest tightly.
"I love you baby and Mom." he tells her playfully
"love you too dad." she says happily looking in his gorgeous eyes
Robbie closes his eyes and is about to fall back to sleep when he feels Lorelai's hands gently rubbing at his chest.
Robbie smiles
Lorelai smiles with him "rob..." she says softly
"hmmm?" he woners
"lets have a baby." she tells him
