'Twas a lull in the World Conference, and the Nation's were taking full advantage of the reprieve, using the rare calm in the middle of the meeting to chat with the Nations they actually got along with, have a snack, or just read something besides draft resolutions.
America was one of the Nations doing the lattermost, a copy of Rick Riordan's The Hidden Oracle in his hands.
"How is it?" Canada asked.
"Dude, it's great! He's got some of the old characters - obviously Percy's one of them, since it starts in New York - but there's a bunch of new people too! Like, one of them is this Italian girl named Chiara, and she gets angry easily and curses a LOT."
Both North America twins thought about it, having the same thought at the same time, and turned around as one to look at Spain and Romana, human names Antonio and Chiara-
"What gives?!" America demanded of the Italian.
"What do you mean?" she asked irritably. Glancing at the cover of the book, she scoffed. "That? I just ran into the author last time the meeting was in New York."
