A/N: This is a short little drabble I wrote about Prince Desmond thinking about Sofia.

When he looked into her eyes, all he could see was the sea.

The pure and dazzling magnificence that held so many things uncovered and yet to be discovered.

When he concentrated on her face, her skin began to look like the color of a light cream, tasteful and sweet.

Listening to her high pitched voice ring through the air like a true soprano made his face melt into a wide beaming smile.

When she encouraged him to do things he believes he could not accomplish, his heart begins to race light years away from his body.

Then, she would take the traveling heart and keep it in her warm embrace. He would be called a coward and she would help him be brave. People would accuse him of weakness while she would assure him there is no shame in being who you are and trusting your heart.

But the Princess could not feel the same as he. He was a lesser Prince. A mere classmate never to be noticed.

When he told himself he did not mind loneliness, his heart would contradict his brain for hours at a time.

The Princess was wise beyond her years and would not give a second thought about him. Would she? All he would ever be able to do was hope. But could he even afford to do that? He could lose or gain so much from just one confession to her.

He gazed into the starry night sky as thoughts of her drugged his mind.

Could he ever rid her from his dreams? Supposedly not, since then it would be too easy. A smile graced his thoughtful face as he pictured her dazzling face staring straight back at him.
