Annabeth's POV

I yawned as Percy ruffled up my hair. I glared at my best friend. "Stop it, Seaweed Brain!"

He sticks his tongue out at me "Whatever, Wise Girl!"

I yawned again which causes Percy to yawn. He pokes my arm "Hey stop yawning! You're making me yawn!"

I swatted his hand away from my arm "Stop it Perce."

Travis chuckles "Oh O! Percy is in trouble with the she devil, I mean Annabeth."

He smiles innocently at me as I punched his arm hard. Katie smacks the back of his head as I stuck my tongue out at him and high five Katie.

Percy pouts "I feel left out."

He just high fives himself, which causes me to giggle. He smiles brightly at me for making me laugh. He wraps an arm around my shoulder and whispers "I'm going to miss you so much, Annie."

I sighed but sadly smiled up at him. "I don't want to do this either Seaweed Brain, but just a year! I will be back! I wish you could come though. I will be so bored and lost without you."

He smiles down at me and shakes his head. God Percy. When will you realize that I love you. I've been in love with you since I met you at the age of 3. Now we're 13. Percy. You drive my thoughts wild. You make my heart skip a beat. You make me feel so worthy. Yet here you don't love me back. I blinked away the tears and looked away from my best friend. I adjusted the bag on my shoulder as I slowly slip my hand out of his warm hand. It fits so right in his hand. Yet I'm slipping away from him. I turned away from him but suddenly there was a hand on my wrist. I turned around to see look at the hand that was on my wrist. It belonged to Percy. He had tears rolling down his cheeks, which caused me to start crying as well. He pulled me into his arms "Gods Annabeth. Don't act like you're dying and going to leave me forever. Because I can't live without you, Annie."

I hugged him tightly ignoring all the flashes around us. "Percy. I'm going to miss you a lot though. I feel like you will forget me. I feel like you will find a replacement for m-"

He places his hand over my mouth and shakes his head rapidly "No! Never! You're the l-"

"Annabeth! Hurry the fuck up! We have to go!" I flicked Magnus off.

I teared up once again as I slowly slipped out of Percy's arms. "One year Percy. Please keep in touch!"

He nods "Of course! Anything for you Annie!"

I wiped my eyes once again and hugged Percy tightly and kissed his cheek. And ran off to my ride leaving a shocked Percy behind.

I waved at everyone at camp as Malcom and Magnus drove off to our biological father's house.

What I didn't know was that he was smiling as he rubbed the cheek I kissed.
