Story Title: Twins' Eye for the Potter Guy

Rating: K

"Wotcher, Harry!"

The greeting was benign enough, cheerful, spoken in a familiar voice. It was even accompanied by a matching grin, and a friendly thump on his back as the greeter in question came up from behind him, and settled into place. There was nothing overtly threatening about the older boy's stance, nothing to tip anyone off that anything out of the ordinary was happening… Except perhaps for the exact people involved.

"Oy, we've been looking everywhere for you, mate!"

"Where'd you run off to for so long?"

"And why for so long?"

"You'd almost think something was wrong, wouldn't you George."

"Yeah, like he was avoiding us. Mighty suspicious, don't you think, Fred?"

"Oh, indeed I do!"

No. Nothing threatening at all. Save the devilish looks on those two identical faces.

"D'you think we should do something about that, brother mine?"

"Well, he's here now, isn't he?"

"True, true. I guess there's nothing left now but to do it."

That should have been his cue to flee the common room. Of course, where in the entirety of Hogwarts would have been safe from them, he could only imagine. But he could have run, or at least tried to escape. Not that it would have done him much good, other than perhaps preserving a bit of his dignity…

Then again…

Harry stared miserably into the mirror as Ron and Hermione stood behind him, the latter with a sympathetic look on her face as the former attempted to stifle laughter. Hermione laid a gentle hand on his shoulder, tentatively, as if afraid he'd bolt if she surprised him.

"It could have been worse, Harry. Imagine if they'd seen something other than just a muggle make over show. At least," and she hesitated here, as if trying to find the words… "At least it'll wear off… eventually."

As it was, it was a sure sensation for the entirety of Hogwarts when the Gryffindor Seeker came out on the field the next day with pink robes and long curly blond hair.
