Highlights from the story of the Doctor

Disclaimer: obviously not me.

Be Calm.

Rain was falling all over the city as a man walked towards a blue police box.

The box seemed tiny; but when the Doctor put a hand in his long coat and pocket and took a little key, it began to move, as if it was feeling the presence of the key.

The man opened the door. Inside the box was a great room.

The Doctor closed his eyes and he walked into the TARDIS. Memories flashed in his head. Rose playing here, Rose being afraid of losing him, himself touching the buttons on the console, her smile, her lips…

It was nothing more than past now. He could move on, forget her, as he always does. He was used to lose human companions. He had dealt with it several times before. He'll move on.

But Rose had always thought she would spend the rest of her life with him. She thought they would travel all around the universe until she gets old. The Doctor knew her since his last incarnation. She saw him regenerating and she still loved him.

Love… what a soft word for a cruel idea. Losing someone you love was one of the things the Doctor hated most. He was lost in his thoughts when he saw something shining on the floor. He picked it up. It was a little earring, Rose's one obviously even if he had never seen her wearing it.

Tears went through his eyelashes and began to flow like a river on his cheeks. Be calm, he said. It got so hard sometimes. He was not weak, oh no, not weak. Life was just being harder than usually but he was OK. Yeah? Was he really OK? Shivers and fever are OK?

The Doctor needed heat so he went on a hot desert planet. Ancients called it "Tattooine". It had two suns but he felt no comfort. He wanted someone needing him.

It seemed like his two hearts were broken. He wished so hard that he could bring Rose back to him. Every part of his body was in fire. Not really, he was not regenerating, but pain surrounded him and he felt himself falling in the darkness. If only he could have told her before it was too late…

He found out that the TARDIS was the best place to dry his tears because it was home to him. Since Gallifrey was destroyed he had been traveling but never had a house where he lived. But home was so empty without Rose… He wished they could have shared a kiss. Actually he wished she was here and souvenirs – fragments of her brightness were so strong that he felt he could almost touch her.

He never wanted to commit suicide and he never would. He was the last of the Time Lords, after all. He had to witness the next war Daleks would create. Daleks were alone, like him. All alone. Through time and space and despair.

The Doctor made a promise. He would never fall in love again. It hurt too badly. It was only pain when he or she left. He could tell something, however. At this moment, he just wanted Rose to be his forever. And never let her go.

She was young and beautiful and pure and we thought we had eternity and more before us but we were fools to think that nothing would go wrong.

Okay, that was kind of short but I hope you enjoyed it! Don't forget to comment! :)
