Chapter 1, Entry 1.: "A kiss is just a kiss, isn't it?"
Chapter 1 Beginning Author's Notes: Please tell me what you think.
I didn't tell anyone, that was much too scary: she'd tried to rape me, and had kissed me too! I was much too ashamed and freaked out, that encounter with my evil twin sister we took to calling VampWillow had truly scared me- she'd targeted me for rape!
I had introduced my boyfriend Oz to my parents, and that was after my kiss of him on the front porch of our house. Initally, Mom was freaked, but she relented when I explained that it's perfectly predictable for a girl or young woman to kiss her boyfriend- especially if they're going steady.
When I was little, I'd kissed Mom and Dad goodnight every night, and enjoyed it. The love we had for eachother was fun.
When we gathered for the High Holidays, I often kissed my cousins who stayed over goodnight when I was little, that was fun, but it didn't mean any romance was going on, I just loved my family- same deal with Mom and Dad.
Kissing a girl was massively different from kissing a guy, kissing a girl was far physically softer, but initially just plain freaky, kissing a guy felt more normal to me, but I just couldn't get up the romantic feelings I had found in my first female love-affair- that was Tara, she was both sweet and amazing, but that one was ruined.
Kennedy however was a totally different matter, she was a creature of deep feelings and desires, if she loved you, it was the most profound love I'd ever ran across, and it totally dwarfed anything I'd ever encountered before- she never hesitated to die for anyone she cared about, or to lay her life down on the line for them; she once told me that came from her pastor- I didn't understand quite what she was talking about, but now I do- it came from a faith she had pretty much left due to her desires clashing with her religion's obligations... that's not quite fun or fair, if you ask me.
She did, however, clairify some beliefs of her upbringing that helped me to understand her brand of Christianity- that was interesting, I'll have to look up more about that.
TBC elsewheres.
