The last thing Edd heard was the beeps stopping.
The first thing Edd saw when he woke up white. When he looked around, he saw blue, green, purple and something watery. He realized what was happening, Tom and Matt were crying. Edd tried to comfort them, to hug them, but he passed right through. He tried to talk to them but they wouldn't respond. Thats when it all clicked, he was a ghost. It was at that moment that Edd noticed the white feathery wings sprouting from his back.
Edd was scared, his friends couldn't hear him or see him and he passed through everything. When the doctors came in and told Matt and Tom that they must leave, he followed them home. He wouldn't leave them alone, even if they didn't know
