Seph Kent walked into The Talon smiling at the old ladies having tea by the window. Stood next to the counter he could still hear them talking.

"That boy looks so much like Superman," one woman said. "Every time I see him I think damn".

"You can't help but think," the second woman continued in her smooth refined tones, smiling.

"He and Lois always close," the third woman said in the choppy way she always spoke and the women giggled like school girls.

Seph shuffled his feet at the counter without even realising he had done it, bought a triple chocolate muffin, chocolate caramel cupcake, two blueberry muffins, three cappuccino's and an Americano to go. Once he was outside and sure no one else could see him he dashed back to the Kent farm.

The young man stormed into the kitchen where Martha was sat reading the newspaper and Lois and Clark were washing up getting more bubbles on themselves than the dishes and arguing about something.

"Mom, Dad, Grandma," he said in a deep determined voice. "I think it's time I started wearing glasses".
