Ruby catches Emma checking her out, pre-relationship

I don't really like this fic to be honest... It just wouldn't work with me...
But I hope you like it :-)

Ruby smiled as she placed the cinnamon hot chocolate in front of Emma, her grin widening when Emma looked up from her mound of paperwork and smiled back.

"Thanks Ruby." She said before returning her attention back to the stack of papers in front of her, the cup in one hand.

Ruby looks back momentarily and nearly drops her tray when she spots Emma not to subtly staring at her behind as she walks.

Smiling internally Ruby swayed her hips a little bit more as she returned the tray and resumed her usual position of leaning over the counter, and she smiled internally again when she saw Emma quickly try to avert her gaze from Ruby's chest.

"I wonder if..." Ruby thought as she eyed the Sheriff, who had now returned to her work, a pale blush coating her cheeks. Without further thought Ruby stood and walked over to Emma's booth and slid in opposite her.

Upon sensing another person Emma looked up, and then fought with herself NOT to look back down, as if her eyed even flicked downwards, she knew that she wouldn't be able to tear her eyes away from Ruby's rather ample cleavage.

"Umm... Ruby... What are you doing here?" Emma asked, her eyes flitting nervously between Ruby's eyes and her own hands.

"I work here Emma." Ruby replied, leaning backwards, enjoying how uncomfortable the blonde was looking.

"No, I meant what are you doing here... in my booth..." Emma was beginning to fidget with her pen, her eyes now flitting around the diner, praying that someone would notice her predicament, however the diner was empty. She was the only patron left.

"You looked lonely... Plus... I saw you looking." Ruby didn't think it was possible for a person to turn that shade of red.

"Looking? At what? I look at lots of things... Umm... I'm sorry..." Emma rambled, her head dropping to her hands when she apologised.

"No need to apologise. It just means... you're less subtle than I am." Ruby stated before she got up and walked away.

Pauley: Well? Whaddya think?
