Ugh! That brat was so annoying! If he wasn't pulling some ass backwwards logic out of thin air to explain his poor mana control, he was acting like he was the one that spent years of his life learning to harness mana and manipulate it like second nature! He was acting as if he had had his powers sealed away, and that he was trying to rebuild his lost abilities from the ground up! What the hell!

She had stormed away before the boy could finish his sentence, having had enough of him and his bull. She needed to get away from him and calm her nerves. It was the only way she would be able to concentrate on anything at all, and not be frustrated to no end by him and his asinine behavior.

Or so she thought.

No matter what she did, be it reading from one of her many magic tomes, to perfecting her alchemical skills and making potions to sell and even supply Echo, hell, even talking to Raven, Eve, Rena and Chung seemed to spark thoughts of the red haired boy who seemed to pervade her thoughts all hours of the day!

Perhaps that's why she was so frustrated by him. Because she couldn't seem to get him out of her head. They had been spending a lot of time together the past few years, and she had taught him much, even when his abilities seemed to turn into a direction she hadn't expected. When he suddenly became able to wield runes, the one bit of magic she admittedly still had trouble with, she had been both amazed and frustrated. He seemed to be much more of a prodigy than she had first anticipated, and this just seemed to increase his smugness tenfold! He had even began applying elemental properties to his runes! Pretty soon she foresaw him throwing barrier runes and even sealing runes like nobody's business. And that just seemed to make her even angrier!

"Ugh!" The young adult growled out, flipping the tome in her lap onto the floor and kicking her feet childishly. "It's not fair!" Even as she said that, she knew what her mentor would say. That life wasn't fair, and people were more unpredictable than she believed. Just because she spent so much time with someone, doesn't mean she knew every little detail about them. But this...blockhead was about as predictable as they came! She knew his bowel movements for Lady's sake! And that was disturbing enough as it was!

Aisha grabbed the first thing she could to her left, a plush doll and held it up in front of her. It was crudely made, but it still had her likeness, even the dopey smile she had given the boy when he had handed it to her on their shared birthday, where she had given him the same thing. His doll was better made, of course, but he seemed to care little about that. And they eventually decided that the dolls should stay together. So she kept them both on her desk, where they sat side by side, holding hands. Aisha smiled at the image.

She yawned and closed her eyes, holding the crude doll to her chest.
