Takes place before Bud is deployed to the Seahawk

Friday evening about 2100

Roberts home

Dinner was over, dishes were done and Harriett was finally free to join Bud in the living room, "What are you watching, sweetie?" she asked.

"It's a Hercules/Xena marathon! Twenty-four hours and they are alternating shows! Isn't that awesome?"

"Just awesome, honey. Did I tell you what Singer did today?"

"Hmmm? Oh, no, only that she upset you," he replied very distractedly.

About an hour later, Harriett rose to put little AJ to bed. She came back down still wanting to talk to Bud about Singer, but his attention was still glued to what the Warrior Princess was up to in the current episode. It seemed like Xena and her sidekick Gabrielle were once again up against their archrival, Callisto.

Harriett tried to keep her eyes open, hoping Bud might at least talk to her during the commercials, but she was so tired that she was soon asleep beside him on the couch.

Her frustrations at Singer and at Bud for not talking to her came out in her dream…

Xena's hair was much shorter in the dream and she looked remarkably like a certain Marine Colonel. Harriett looked down at herself, she was dressed as Gabrielle, with her long staff in her hand.

"We need to stop Callisto, Gabrielle. She is intent on pillaging that town up ahead!" Xena/Mac said.

"Let's go!" Gabrielle/Harriett agreed.

Within minutes they had tracked down Callisto (who looked very much like Lauren Singer) and the three were soon engaged in battle. Gabrielle/Harriett managed to get in a few good whacks on Callisto with her staff. This relieved a lot of her frustration.

"Honey, I'm going to tape the next few hours of the marathon and go to bed for a bit. Are you going to come up with me?" Bud asked as he shook Harriett awake.

"I'll be up in a minute, Joxer," she muttered.

"What, honey?"

"Oh never mind," she sighed and rose to go up to bed with Bud.
