AN: When Heracles responds, he says "I love you very much" in Greek. :3
I walked down the sandy beach, the small dot that was Heracles-san slowly began larger and more human-like. The white sand felt soft and warm beneath my bare feet as the setting sun caused the temperature to drop, cooling the sand from it's previous unbearable heat from earlier in the day. As I approached Heracles-san, I hesitated for a moment.
The reason I had sought him out right now was because I made a promise to Feliciano-chan that I would tell him how I feel about him. I always thought it would be considered odd that I harbored such feelings for another boy, but I soon learned that the rest of countries were pretty much the same as me. But Feliciano-chan and I made a pact to confess our feelings for the one we loved. Mine just happened to be Heracles.
I began walking again, slower than before, but still making my way closer and closer to my impending doom. My ears were heating up, and I could feel my cheeks beginning to flush already.
Once I finally got to him, I stood next to the rock he was sitting on and stared at the sunset with him.
"Hera-chan?" I asked once I finally mustered up the confidence to speak.
"Yes, Kiku-chan?" he asked, turning his beautiful face to look at me.
"There's…s-something I've been…meaning to t-tell you…" I told him. I couldn't help the incessant stuttering that always came along with me being nervous or awkward.
"What is it? You can tell me anything, Kiku," he said, grabbing my hand lightly.
The feeling of his hand in mine made the butterflies in my stomach go crazy. I took one deep, long, soothing breath before I began.
"I…um…I l-love you…Hera-chan…" I confessed. I pulled my hand from his and turned my back to him, attempting to mask my embarrassment.
I soon felt him wrap his strong arms around my waist and the weight of his head resting on my shoulder. He put his lips to my ear and whispered softly, "Αγαπώ σας πολύ."
He then whirled me around in his arms and kissed me gently on my lips. He pulled away and I squeezed my eyes shut in utter embarrassment. I felt my body being pulled in to a tight, but loving hug and smiled into Hera-chan's shoulder. It doesn't get much better than this…
