Condemned to Boredom and Cold. But are You?
Life for you is just so boring. You always know what's going to happen next- absolutely nothing. Nothing but silence seems to fill the room around you. The chill and dampness would be punishment enough, but the endless silence is worse. You try to remember exactly why you are stuck in the castle dungeons of all places when you remember, it wasn't your choice; you have no choice in the matter!
Then, the door swings open, and suddenly you are reminded exactly why you prefer the silence. That Granger girl, ex student turned professor, is just the type of person you would go out of your way to avoid.
Every day is the same when she visits. She complains and fills the once silent room with her endless insults.
"You great greasy git! Why don't you just get a life? You need to stop interfering with my Gryffindor students, and I'll leave you the hell alone. Why are you such an unfeeling selfish bastard? Blah, blah, blah."
You always have to listen to the same arguments again and again. You wish you could just send her away, but you know you can't.
Suddenly, you realize she's stopped ranting, and she's on top of you. Papers, books, and other trinkets are scattered on the floor. The chill you used to feel is replaced with a disturbing, yet welcoming warmth. This now delightful and wanton goddess is on top of you, and all you want to do is embrace her warmth and never let her go.
It pains you to know it's impossible, that you'll remain alone in the cold dungeons forever, unless you can convince Dumbledore otherwise. It pains you just knowing that this warmth will soon end-the kind that you can't have, because he would be a fool not to take it!
And you know he will.
You will always be surrounded by the cold of the dungeons, but at least now you can say it hasn't always been boring, being Severus' office desk!
