Back, a thousand years ago, when magic was young and Hogwarts was only an idea at the back of minds lived Godric Gryffindor from wild moor, Salazar Slytherin from the fen, Helga Hufflepuff form valley broad, Rowena Ravenclaw from glen and Lordan Llywenshir from the hills.
These were to be the five founders of Hogwarts but the fifth, Lordan Llywenshir less well known that the others. As Gryffindor's colour is scarlet, Slytherin's colour is dark green, Hufflepuff's colour is yellow and Ravenclaw's colour is dark blue Llywenshir's colour is orange.
He proposed after school advanced magic classes. His proposal was that after the seventh grade special students who gained excellent NEWTS were invited back for another year, a secret year, where they learn extremely advanced magic. The proposal did not go down well with the other four founders but was adopted none the less. So came into being was Llywenshir house for advanced students.
So Gryffindor taught only the bravest students, Slytherin taught the most cunning, Ravenclaw the sharpest of mind Hufflepuff taught all rest and Llywenshir taught the best from each house after their seventh year. As such there are secret passages all over the castle as well as secret classrooms and dormitories for the students who are invited back. No other student shall learn about these until they were, if they were, invited back for their eighth year.
This is the story of Lordan Llywenshir, the unknown founder, and his house.
