This is my first try for a vampire knight story so bear with me. Thanks for reading and look out for more chapters!
Chapter 1
Yukki: Zero! You're slacking off again!
He just glares at her and shows no ambition of moving.
Yukki: The night class will be leaving there dorm soon, we have to go.
She grabbed his arm and pulled him as hard as she could. He stood up this time and they started walking towards the Moon dorm.
Yukki: You really should take our duties more seriously Zero. The Head Master trusts us to..
He cut her off with a loud "Hmmph"
Zero: We both know that the Night Class would be fine with out us.
Yukki: It's not just about the Night Class. We have to protect the Day students too. There would be serious trouble if one of the Night Class students just decided that they didn't want blood tablets anymore.
He either was pretending not to hear her, or just not listening.
Yukki: Zero...
She tried to catch up to him, but every time she did, he would walk faster again. It was starting to annoy her.
Yukki: Zero, you don't have to stay away from me just because... because of what happened.
He stopped walking instantly. When she didn't, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back so that she wasn't but a foot away from him.
Zero: Yes I do. Yukki, I've hurt you and I couldn't bear to do it again. I couldn't live with myself if I did it again!
Yukki gently put her hands on his chest and looked up at him with a smile.
Yukki: See, you're close to me now and you're not hurting me. There's nothing to worry about.
He gave a little "huff" and pulled away from her.
Yukki: Zero, please...
She didn't get to finish what she was going to say. Zero wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him. They were locked in an embrase.
Zero: You don't know what you do to me when you say things like that.
There eyes locked for a moment and Yukki smiled. They were so close to one another that she could feel his breath agains her neck. She closed her eyes and...
Zero: Let's get going. We don't want the Night Class making the Day students into a snack.
He was already a few paces ahead of her. She sighed and started walking, making sure to stay a few steps behind him. Quietly, so Zero couldn't hear, she whispered "Maybe next time."
