'Stupid leaves…Stupid squirrels…Stupid counselor…' Zexion grumbles in his head as he drags his feet through the dirt. His wet flip-flops become coated with the powdery soil as he trails back to his musty cabin from the daily swim at Lake Wewanna.
"I'm not depressed…Stupid counselor had to listen to Demyx's suggestion…I hate Boy Scouts…all of them…And now I have to spend the whole three months of summer break here when I'm fucking 18!" Zexion talks to himself and he digs his nails harshly into his striped beach towel.
The fronts of his black flip-flops catch a jagged rock and he abruptly trips over it. His face plants into the itchy forest ferns and he groans in misery. "Zexy!" A familiar voice shouts as Zexion feels the ground quiver from the source's antelope-like stride. "What…" Zexion snaps as he feels Demyx's cooling shadow over him which relieves him from the blistering sun.
"You can sleep after dinner! Let's go swimming! I just finished making my bird house and now I want to go swimming!" Demyx rambles on and Zexion growls ferociously yet the cicadas' singing over powers the Goth's angst.
"I just…went swimming…in that green sludge lake. Then the camp scout, Xemnas, made me sing the scout's song because I apparently violated a rule by touching the floating buoys. Then Roxas laughed at me so I punched him in the face." Zexion rants and Demyx giggles.
"Aw…Zexy…I like your singing voice." The water scout says and Zexion blushes in embarrassment. "Nobody asked you!" Zexion yells back and Demyx laughs playfully again. "Haha you said nobody. We are all nobodies!" The dirty blonde exclaims and Zexion growls again.
'Stupid mosquitoes…Stupid Demyx…' Zexion thinks and he slugs up from the ground. Bark and dirt clings to his abs as he brushes his bleeding knee off. The metallic blood covers his pasty white hand and he takes his wet towel off his thin shoulders to wipe himself off.
"Zexion…you're bleeding…" The water lover says softly and Zexion slaps Demyx's caring touch away. "Oh really?! Because I didn't notice!!" Zexion snaps at Demyx and the dirty blonde's eyes get misty with tears.
