Prologue
Aftermath
Footsteps echoed across a silent courtyard, and the priest and his apprentice looked up, at the four coming up the stairs.
Four figures, three men and a young woman, their features hidden from view, were silent as they made their way to the top where the duo awaited them.
As she reached the top, she bowed her head to the old priest, and moved to kneel in front of a marker, and placed a bouquet in red roses down. The apprentice stood silently behind her, keeping guard as the young beauty looked mournfully upon the silent marker.
"For this planet, my love, I will protect it until my dying breath." Her voice was a whisper as she bent her head in prayer.
Finishing a prayer, she silently stood and walked over to the men still at the entrance. With a tilt of their hats, the men disappeared into the darkness with the young woman and the old priest mourned. His only comfort was the apprentice who stood silently next to another marker.
Lives were lost and only one truly suffered from the outcome.
This was the consequences after the battle of Galaxia, and no one could know the truth, except those that were there on that faithful night.
Yet, even as the courtyard stood silent, the wheels of fate were turning to decide the next outcome for the fate of the planet. Something was coming, but no one would truly know it until the first strike.
