Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, only the plot and my own characters. This story was written a long time ago and believe me, I reread this myself and I cringed myself. There was so much stuff I wanted to change but I also did not want to, it serves to remind me that everyone starts out somewhere. The story was weak. The character herself was weak. The thing I definitely will change will be the point of view.
As of 10.30.2016. Heart of the Avenger is being reedited. Not a lot will be changed, however, as this was written with a group of friends I no longer have and I do want to at least remember the happier times in which we the only big thing we had to worry about was studying for school. Please bare with me as I change this story once again. When I finally finish revising this, I will work on Heart of the Avenger II, and I hope that my writing will be much different then how I started with. In the beginning, all we thought was that it's just a fanfiction, whatever we want to happen can happen. Wrong, we should have done research on it. We should have planned out what would happened, should happen, how how. I apologize and thank all my readers who have stuck with me for so long and to have read all of the chapters sitting through all of that fan girl cringness. I appreciate every one of your reviews.
Yes, please also feel free to criticize the story and review in however way you want. Nothing is edited out. If you are planning to just add things like for example, "Its sucks. It just sucks" then please don't. Let me know why it sucks. Which part needs to be fixed? Constructive criticism is what helps writers build a foundation to improve.
Please note: To save this fanfiction and to help everything at least make sense. Ari has black hair from her mother. Her eyes are the same color as Kakashi. If you read anywhere she has a different color eye color. It was a mistake I did not catch and change.
I was not able to catch every typo so bare with me. Yes, I know, bunshin is correctly spelled as bunshin.

Chapter 1: Being a Ninja

"NARUTO!"
Ari sighed after she heard a scream as she walked down the streets of Konohagakure.
"I guess Naruto got in trouble again" Ari sweat dropped heading towards the commotion
Many villagers were pointing up at something and when she decided to look up, Ari saw that her classmate had decided to graffiti the mountain heads of the former Hokages.
"Naruto, I think you went a bit far this time" Ari whispered to herself before remembering that she was going to be late if she don't hurry, 'Iruka-sensei will take care of him'
She had woken up later then usual today, thanks to her idiotic and perverted brother who had decided to turn off her alarm since he didn't want to be woken up.
Ari rushed through everything this morning and barely had time to comb her hair. Tthanks to the commotion, she had made it to cIass before Iruka-senei. Quickly took she seat behind Uchiha Sasuke, named the hottest heart throb at the school. She admited that he was strong and had the looks, but he was too hard to approach. Uchiha Sasuka was too cold.
"Morning Sasuke" Ari mumbled as soon as she sat down. He acknowledged her with a nod earning her the hated stares she now felt throughout the classroom.
"If you don't stop glaring at me, I swear your life's gonna end painfully" Ari glared back at them. She will never understand the female population in this class but she knew she'll never want to be like them.
Just then, Iruka, came in with a tied up Naruto. He tried to lecture the blond child, but Naruto was not having it. It ended when Iruka finally snapped and made the class review Henge no Jutsu. (Transformation technique)
"You have to transform into me" Iruka instructed his class, ignoring their groans, "Line up!"
Everyone began to line up as instructed, all the while muttering about Naruto.
Ari found herself being pushed and shoved by Sasuke's fangirls in their eagerness to stand next to him.
"Haruno Sakura" Iruka-sensei called
A girl with pink hair and emerald green eyes came forward and stood infront of Iruka who was holding a clipboard.
The girl, Sakura was one of the girls who are all lovey-dovey over Sasuke. Her greatest rival was also her best friend, Yamanaka Ino.
Sakura transformed perfectly and after she did, she looked at Sasuke shyly who didn't bother to even look at her. Ari's turn came up after a couple of more students.
Stepping up to Iruka , Ari changed into an exact replica of him using Henge no Jutsu
When finally it was Naruto's turn, that's when everything went bad. Instead of changing into Iruka, he transformed himself into a naked blond woman, giving Iruka a nosebleed.
Class ended right there and Ari left hearing that Naruto was going to scrub off all the marks on the Hokage's mountain head as punishment
When Ari got home, she noticed that her brother wasn't home, yet all the novals he owned littered the floor.
"Lazy ass" She muttered, picking up all the books and throwing them into his room. After a quick shower, she began to study her jutsus for the graduation exams tomorrow.
The day, it was announced that the final exam was to create 3 bunshins.
Needless to say, everyone in the class graduated excepted Naruto. Taking my hitai-ate (headband), I tied it to her forehead. Since it was the day of the examination. Once you had passed. You were allowed to leave. Parents were waiting to congradualate their child outside, but Ari knew her brother won't be there so she began to walk away when she heard the whispers about her blond classmate.
"Hey, isn't that the kid who-"
"Yeah, that's him. The only one who failed"
"Can you imagine if they let someone like that become a shinobi...?"
"LOSER..."
Ari couldn't take anymore of it so she turned towards the adults who were talking, "I'd be quiet if I were you, unless you want to lose an arm!"
They glared at me, "Who do you think you are? A child talking to an adult like that?"
"What of adults who are trash talking children?" Ari retored angrily.
"Children these days" One parent muttered as they turned away from her, "No respect at all. Chika. don't you ever be like her"
Ignoring the group of gossiping parents, Ari turned her head to Naruto.
"Konnichiwa Naruto" He looked like he was gonna die right there and then
"Are you here to rub it in my face?" He asked quietly
"No, of course not, wanna go for a bowl of ramen at Ichiraku's?" It was like someone had given him a life restoring pill. He had immediatly sprung back to life.
"Alright! Let's go!" They headed straight for Naruto's favorite ramen shop, Ichiraku. Deciding to be nice, Ari bought him all the ramen he asked for.
'That's gonna leave a dent in my savings' She sighed before getting up
"Where are you going Ari-chan?" Naruto asked still slurping his noodles
"Home to study, don't worry Naruto-kun, you'll be a great ninja" Ari smiled and patted his head before walking home, "I have faith in you. Good luck!"
It was beginning to get dark when I started walking home.
'I didn't think I spent that long at Ichiraku' Ari thought to herself
When she opened the door to the house. She was surprised to find her brother home and dinner made
"Onii-chan!" Ari smiled before launching myself at him, "What are you doing home?"
"Well, I'm home to celebrate your becoming a ninja" He smiled behind his mask
Since she did not eat ramen with Naruto, Ari happily ate dinner with her brother, talked a bit, then went to bed. Tomorrow, all the students who passed are suppose to meet in a specific room.
