A/N: I originally had this in really short form, but them decided to expand it. I hope you like it, it's just something I randomly wrote in a French lesson a while ago. Best use of French lesson ever I think. Anyways Enjoy!
Maybe…
Maybe, one day, they would get married. A big wedding, with all their family and friends there. McGee would wait for her at the alter, wearing his charcoal suit, Gibbs would give her away, he was truly like a father to her. Kate would forever be with her in spirit, Ducky would be pleased to see his adopted grandchildren all grown up, Tony would be holding hand with Ziva, the ways things are meant to be.
Maybe, one day, they would have children. She had always wanted a little girl, McGee would be the best father there had ever been. Gibbs would be, of course, granddad, and Ducky the great grandfather. Uncle Tony and Auntie Ziva, and Auntie Kate would watch over them always. She would always help them with homework and school projects, always be supportive and caring.
Maybe, one day, their children would leave home. She would cry and constantly worry about them, McGee would just sit there quietly, not sure what to do. Gibbs would tell her they they'll be fine, they're big enough to look after themselves. Tony would make annoying jokes, and Ziva would punch him in the stomach and take Gibbs' side. They'll be fine. Ducky would just give her a hug and tell her it's all going to be okay.
Maybe, one day, they would become grandparents. She would start crying all over again. Reminded of her own children when they were small. McGee would be so proud, yet nervous at the same time. He would never like new experiences, he never changed. Tony and Ziva would congratulate the family and always be there, Gibbs would be pleased that he was a great granddad. Ducky would watch over from above with Kate. (A/N: I don't think poor Ducky would still be around at this point )
Maybe, one day, they would walk through the park, holding hands. Like all old couples, growing old together, always loving each other. After retirement they would have time to walk the parks together, going to the cinema and maybe, if they were in the mood, still going out for the odd romantic meal together.
Maybe, one day, they would sit quietly and remember. An album of photos in front of them, photos of their friends and family. All smiling forever happily.
But all that Abby knew now was that she was happy just the way things were.
A/N: Well I hope you enjoyed it. Please review if you liked it. I always love to hear feedback from you. Love you always, Love Oakland xxx.
