Disclaimer: I do not own X-Men, Marvel does. I do, however own a personal statement that needs to be written for university and two essays as well XD.

This is just a random story that says the unsaid things. Judge me, don't judge me: I'm not that bothered. I wrote this when bored and during writers block on my big story. Anyone interested in Beta-ing for a Rogan/Ryro/Romy (yeah I'm undecided) story then let me know XD

"Yes Logan?"

The jet had landed several hours ago and the X-Men were having some well deserved down time. Logan spent the time wandering around the mansion, running over the events in Africa. He had to admit that he owed Frost. Even though she neglected to mention her other mutation, about being able to turn into diamond, he had to give her credit. She defeated the Shadow King and saved, not only Africa, but Ororo too. Logan still didn't know why he had cradled her in his arms and carried her away. And then when she awoke... The smile she gave him for helping her sit up was scintillating.

"Look Frost..." He rubbed his neck, uncomfortable with the situation. "You did well today. Thanks for helping to save Storm... And I just wanted to say that... Well you were right about earlier. Trust is a two way street and I'm sorry for not trusting you more."

He turned to go but Emma grabbed his arm.

"Thank you Logan. I know that was hard for you. And I just want to say thank you for coming to say that to me. And I am also sorry for the way I have been acting towards you. After losing my students and then coming here and being treated with such animosity... Well I guess it was natural for me to be so rude to my hosts. But I am still sorry for that"

"Don't worry about it Fr-" He paused. "Emma. I-" He broke off, looking away. "Have a good night."

"You also Logan."

He smiled at her briefly before turning to walk away again.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Logan woke from another hazy nightmare and sat up, gasping for breath as the remnants of the dream flitted away. He shook his head with a growl and slid out of bed. He needed a beer. Now.

After securing a beer he realised there was no way he could get back to sleep right away. Normally Rogue was good at helping with his nightmares. She always knew how to distract him and make him laugh. But since she had defected to the Brotherhood... Sighing, he got up and headed for the danger room to take his anger out on a few simulated people.

When he arrived at the door he found it in use. He frowned before heading to the control room to check the occupant.

Emma Frost.

Who'd have thought?

She was rather graceful in her movements. Whirling around she faced an opponent. With a swift kick to the head and a sweep of her leg to take him out, he was down for the count.

Logan smiled at the site. He'd never known that she actually trained to become better without relying on her powers.

Maybe Emma Frost wasn't so bad after all...
