The Chinese lady complained as she looked to her feet in disgust. "Look at these feet aru! I can't believe the men here find these attractive, they look horrible and don't let me get started with the smell aru!" No one else was there to comment except for a small Japanese boy who simply looked up from his parchment paper with blank eyes only to look back at the material in his hands.
The lady sighed and tried to ease the pain of her aching feet; she got up and started to limp away until the boy's monotone voice broke the silence.
"Your feet may not look good but you look beautiful in places that really matter".
The lady, waiting for a sarcastic remark, then asked "and where would those be?".
"Well, in your heart of course." the child replied as he put down the paper to look at the older female with his unchanging expression.
