I don't own them, LOCI is not part of my vast fortune ( I wish) and I'm just borrowing all characters.

Why Not?

Bobby sighed. What to do, what to do, what to do today? Well...I need some new clothes. I'll call Eames and she'll come shopping with me. Why not? It's a perfectly natural thing to do, get a woman's opinion. Eames is the only woman in my life now, anyway. She's the one that has to look at me all day. But then...I really shouldn't be spending any more money, until I've been reinstated anyway. OK. Sooo...no shopping.

Bobby shuffled around his apartment lining up his magazines, making sure his CD's were in order. He checked his sock and underwear draw, everything was still neatly folded, color coordinated, just the way he liked it. He wandered back out into the living room and sighed again. He sat in his chair and clicked on the TV. Nothing on. He clicked it off. I know, I'll go to a movie. I'll call Eames and we can go see a matinee and then have a late lunch. Why not? Eames enjoys a good movie. I'll just call her...oh wait. She's at work. Right. OK. Soooo...no movie.

Bobby walked over to window and looked below. The street was busy. It seemed like the whole world had something to do at 11:00AM on a Thursday except him. I know. I'll drive up to that lake by the place that Alex and I stopped at on the way back from that case. Why not? That was a nice place. Alex was in such a good mood that day. So was I. Boy, we laughed a lot that day. That's what I'll do...wait. Only Alex knows how to get there. And...oh yeah...only Alex has a car. OK. Sooo...no lake.

Bobby meandered from the living room into the kitchen. He opened the cabinets and closed them. Opened and closed them again. Opened the refrigerator and closed it. Opened it and stared into it. Am I hungry? No, I couldn't be hungry. I just ate. Well...not just. Like, 35 minutes ago. I know. I'll change my clothes, go for a walk, and, if I happen to end up at 1PP then I'll just call up to Alex and take her to lunch. Why not? There's nothing like taking a long walk and building up your appetite. Ofcourse...she may be busy. With her temporary partner. Maybe he's taking her to lunch. To our place. Ok. So, it's technically not our place, but the place we always go. How could she? Nothing like kicking a guy when he's down, hey Eames. Well...well...I don't need you anyway to keep myself busy. I have plenty to do. Without you. It's not like my life revolves around you Eames, and you know what? When you call to check in on me today, I might just tell you that!

At 6:15 PM Bobby emerged from his room. He spent the day sorting through old pictures and letters, things he never got around to doing before. He stretched and thought about what to have for dinner when his buzzer rang. He walked to the door and was surprised to find Alex standing there. She looked like she came right from work.

"Hey, Bobby. I'm starving. Want to grab dinner?" He looked her up and down for minute and grabbed his coat. He shrugged. "Why not?".
