Name: Striker A.K.A. Barbarian, Gladiator, Warrior, Executioner, Psychopath and Team Worker

Ever heard the saying "Never bring a knife to a gun fight"? Well this infected brings two giant two-handed swords to a gun fight. The Striker can wield both at once with each in one hand. Nobody knows where the striker got the swords from, but that's a question that doesn't matter in this case.

Description:

Survivors have reported seeing a special infected that resembles a hunter's face, smoker's tongue and the tank's body build. Some even tell authorities that they've seen deep gash wounds in the torso. Witnesses also report seeing this special infected in alleys and inside abandoned homes. He's barefoot, shirtless and has been seen wearing torn and baggy black jeans. Also has the appearance of a 25 year old male.

Mutation Limits:

Results from various lab tests show that normal humans are turned into infected by either being bit or getting cut by the blades. From this, we can verify that the Striker can spread the virus along the edges of the swords. Immune survivors are only done physical harm and won't turn.

Attack Methods:

Despite its muscle weight, body build and strength scale, the Striker is quite fast on its feet. It searches specifically for female survivors, although it is unknown why this behavior is taken. Male survivors are nothing to the Striker and will usually leave them alone unless they are shot or harmed. The Striker will use its Smoker-like tongue to disorientate opponents and then slash at them with one of the swords. In desperate situations, it will use the tongue to entrap survivors like a snake and pull them towards it, biting the face or neck when close enough. It can also emit an ear crushing roar that will attract other special infected such as Hunters, Smokers, and on rare occasions, Tanks and Chargers.

Behavior around fellow special infected:

This special infected is hardly ever seen alone. The Striker is commonly found guarding the Witch, showing that he is very protective around her. When the Witch is startled, the Striker will slam the survivor to the ground and allow the Witch to attack. It helps Hunters attack their prey by throwing them at survivors and often travels in packs with Tanks and Chargers when walking out in the open. Smokers are aided by both using their longs tongues on one single target. Jockeys can get a batter vantage point by climbing onto the Striker's back before jumping onto survivors. Spitters are sometimes carried by the Striker on its back to get a better aim at survivors. If a fight breaks out between his fellow infected, he'll get in between the infected and use a series of grunts to communicate a peace talk, which never fails no matter what special infected are having what conflict. All of this shows that the Striker strongly believes in teamwork in order to keep his fellow infected members alive. This is probably the smartest of all the special infected survivors have encountered so far.

Survival Tips:

Avoid contact with the Striker at all costs

If possible, just walk or run away

Always keep a blade just in case the Striker uses its tongue

Use firearms or distractions against the Striker if contact is mandatory

Make sure to encounter the Striker while it's alone

Its weak point is the gashes in the torso

If the Striker roars, leave the area immediately

Recommended group size against Striker with other special infected is the maximum of eight people
