[POV of Sam]

The three of us fell from the ceiling and onto the couch of Jerry's office, with Alex landing on the armrest, Clover almost hitting the floor, and me landing on the back of the couch. Groaning, Clover was the first to get up and lecture us.

"Ouch, Jerr, you couldn't have warned us first?"

"Sorry girls, but this is an important urgency."

Raising an eyebrow, I looked over at Clover and Alex and the two of them just folded their arms.

"Jerry, how important is this urgency?"

"Well girls, this is a high-end mission, you three will be spending an entire week guarding a quantum physicist. Which means, no other missions, all eyes on her."

I could feel my mouth drop open at the thought of not having to leave Beverly Hills for any missions for an entire week. The three of us quickly ran over to Jerry and gave him the tightest group hug. Perking up, I realized that we had no idea who this lady is or when she's getting here.

"Now hold up for sec. Just who is this woman and when is she getting here?"

"Truth be told Sam, she's already here and she's staying at your penthouse. Dr. Grey, will you please come in."

Looking at the office doors, we all saw a woman in light green jumpsuit that came with a gun holster, white boots and gloves and her orange hair, except for two locks that frame her face, up in a bun. Her orange bangs were a bit above her brown eyes, but with her head was tilted it looked like they covered her eyes. The two of us stared at each other and I could feel myself smiling.

"Cousin Miranda!"

Letting go of the girls and Jerry, I quickly ran over to her and the two us immediately embraced in a hug.

"Sam? It's been quite a few years."

"It most certainly has. And we get to spend a whole week together now! So, any new big projects?"

"A couple, but can't go into details just yet, still got a few bugs to work out. Think you can be of assistance?"

The two of us hugged each other again, but within a moment I felt Clover tapping me on my shoulder. Looking at her, I gave her a confused look.

"Just wait a second, Sam. You had a cousin and you never told us?

"Oops, sorry girls. Everyone this is my cousin Miranda… well technically, she's my mom's cousin thus making her my second-cousin. Say, where's Abbey?"

"Oh, my sis is busy traveling in stuff and getting herself into trouble."

"Guess traveling and getting into trouble runs in the family."

We all heard Jerry cough for a second and we all turned our eyes to him.

"I would like to continue, please. Anyways, Dr. Grey here is a physicist and you will be guarding her for the week, but she isn't the only one. You three girls will be separated and be assisting and or guarding different scientists. Clover, you are being assigned to Dr. Paul Cheechoo a cold-climate researcher. Alex, you will be assigned to Dr. Arthur Beeman a U.F.O researcher."

The three of us girls looked at each other, and I could feel like this was going to be a long week now. letting go of Miranda, I quickly brought Clover and Alex into a hug.

"Now each of you girls will be given a larger array of gadgets for your assignments. You each will be given the same gadgets for now, but once you reach your destinations you will find the rest. For now you have the, 24 Exposure Mini Barrette Camera, the 5 Carat Data Processor Pendant, Boring Amethyst Charm, Butterfly Barrette Bomb, Catch All Titanium Spider Web, the Chameleon Eye Shadow, the Gadget Emergency Kit, Exploding Lipstick, Hologram Projecting Mood Ring, the entire Manicure Kit, Expandable Cable Bungee Belt, Laser Lipstick, the Mini Bombs, Nanotechnology Eye Shadow, Suction Cup Bottom Go-Go boots, Lab in a Briefcase 9000 and the M-ray Contact Lenses. Now then girls, off you go."

Being handed their bags by G.L.A.D.I.S, Jerry pressed a small button on his desk and we both saw the floor beneath Alex and Clover give away and the two of them fell down.

"Sam, does this always happen?"

"Every time that Jerry needs us, Miranda. Welcome to the WHOOP life."
