So, my second fanfic! Whoo! I wanna thank all those who are readers of my first, and still going, fic "Facebook Official." The support from all of you is great! So this is a spin-off of Facebook Official. It's the prequel to where Zora and Shayne's relationship is in Facebook Official. From the day they met and on. I want to dedicate this fic to AFlawlessBeauty, as she asked for a Zora/Shayne spin-off, and Mr. BC, because he gave me the idea for this fic. This is one of two Zora/Shayne spin-offs I'll be writing. This one gives you the history of the two, the one later will take place when they're older, like late-teens. So I hope you all enjoy! :)

That was when they first met.

The summer before Zora started Kindergarten.

They were at the lake. The lake they went to every summer. Just Zora, her parents, and her older brother Jordan. It wasn't far from their home, so they went quite often.

This particular time was different. That's when she met... him.

Shayne Thomson.

Needless to say, they didn't hit it off so well. It was his fault. He was the one that pushed her into the water. He was the one that called her a 'Kindergarten baby.' Shayne was quite the little bully. Zora didn't cry or anything like that. No, this was Zora Lancaster. She clenched her small fists and pushed him right back. If Shayne's twin brother, Levi, hadn't threatened to tell on their parents, the two would've been at it all day.

Their relationship was tense. After their meeting at the lake they would fight whenever they had the chance. He pulled her hair, she pushed him, he threw stuff at her, she pinched him. The list went on.

She tried to tell her brother to beat up Shayne up for her, as she was smaller than both the boys. Jordan didn't though.

"I'll get in trouble," he said with a frown. "And... Shayne's my friend."

Zora didn't ask her brother to beat him up after that. She didn't even bother asking him to tell Shayne to stop picking on her. No. She just continued fighting back.

By herself.
