L has died. But wait! Can the world's greatest detective really die so easily? I think not. There have been many debates on L's death and if it was really the right thing to happen. What else could of possibly happened?

"Ha ha! He's dead." Light cheered to himself. The other members of the investigation team swarmed around the corpse of the fallen detective, everyone was freaking out. Light pretended to also freak out, but was really happy inside.

Light went home that day, unhand cuffed finally. He practically skipped into his house and shut the door. He was greeted by something smashing into his face.

"Ahhh! What the hell was that?" Light wiped his face off and looked at what was in his hand. Cake. "Ok, who threw that?' Light asked the empty house. Ryuk floated behind him, giggling.

"Raito-kun..." Someone spoke in an all too familiar voice. "Raito-kun..."

"AHHH! NO!! It can't be?" Light yelled and looked around. He finally saw a blurry figure sitting in his signature position in a chair in the kitchen.

"Raito, you didn't think I'd die that easily?" L whispered through a big grin on his face.

"How? What? Noooo!" Raito questioned and looked very confused and frightened.

"I've come back to turn you in, Raito. Or, at least, make your life miserable." L explained.

"How in the hell? You're a ghost. How is that possible? I'm going insane." Light concluded.

"No, Raito-kun. It was the wish of all my fan girls. All their dedication brought me back. Isn't that something?"

"Never!" Light screamed and ran out the door. "No!!!!"

No, people, I'm not crazy. You all know you wanted L to come back as a ghost and haunt Light. I would like to thank all the fan girls who made L's rising possible. Here's another one.

Again, L is dead. Rem wrote the name of this L in the notebook. L's eyes close and he is dead. Again, people are freaking out, all but Light. They are all in the Investigation room, and suddenly, the largest screens of the computers turned on and a voice spoke.

"Interesting. I never thought the shinigami would try and kill me. Whatever the reason, I have gained even more information." The voice stated. The investigation team stared at the screen, very confused.

"Wait, who are you?" Chief Yagami asked.

"Why, I'm L." The voice said. Jaws dropped.

"But...he..But.." Light pointed at the body of the supposed L.

"Well, if you check in the body's ear, you'll find a microphone. This person said everything I said to say. You really thought someone who ate nothing but sugar and hardly slept could really of thought up all those plans and logical thinking?"

"Umm, well.." The people of the investigation team tried to explain what they thought.

"There is also a mini camera that let me see everything from this L's perspective. Yeah, Light, I saw that face you gave this L as he died. You are Kira!" The voice proclaimed.

"No, I'm not I swear." Light tried to convince this L and the other members of the investigation team.

"Oh, really? Let me show you all." L said. A video popped up on the screen, there were voices and the screen fell as the fake L fell. Everyone saw Light, as he leaned over the dying L. He face was cocked into an evil smile.

"Aww, crap." Light said.
