gah! First story! Okay: first of all- Hi! My name is JokersGF (in anonymous as Unknown_Files) and I'm not a noob! I don't own Diary Of a Wimpy Kid. Please take care of me (and my stories ^-^) Kay - read on!

Rodrick let his drum stick bounce on his knee, a light thump, thump sound emitting.

"Boys! Dinner!" His mom called. He smirked, racing out of his room, down the attic stairs, and bumping right into his brother, Greg, who he pushed out of the way, cackling cruelly.

"Aw, c'mon Rodrick!" the kid cried miserably

"Ya snooze ya loose!" Besides, I'm older. I need more food, he thought. Not that it exactly made sense. He had finished growing last year, on his eighteenth. The kid, or Greg -as was his real name- was only thirteen. He had a while. Oh well. Rodrick was sure he was still hungrier than The Kid.

At the table, there was nothing that looked good. Lasagna. And… Ugh! Salad! What was Mom thinking? Had she gone insane? There wasn't even Ranch on the salad. There was some weird orange stuff on it. EW.

"It's Italian food tonight boys. We had a new employee today at my work and he gave me some food tips. Apparently his wife's family is Italian! How interesting is that? And also, they're coming to dinner tonight. They are from around town, but they transferred to this side because of some. . Problems," she waved her hand as if that dismissed whatever it was.

"Wait, they're coming OVER? As in, visiting? For dinner? Why?" complained Greg. Rodrick, annoyed by his brother's voice, smacked him

"Shut up. And why are we having Italian food if they're coming over tomorrow? "

"Because I wanted to make some of our family recipes tomorrow. Isn't that a nice idea?" Rodrick just shut up. Not really caring or wanting to care. But, wait… What if they had a kid who could sing?

"Do they have any kids?" "Kids? I'm not sure... I think he mentioned something about a girl a little younger than you. Sixteen, I think? We'll find out tomorrow, though."

Ugh… Of course. His hopes for a new lead singer for Loded Diper. . The band was falling apart because none of them could sing. Well, it wasn't like any of them were exactly great on their individual instruments anyways. . Except for Rodrick. He was great on his drum set. And for the rest of dinner, he was lost in thoughts of how amazing he was on the drums.
