Authors Note: This is my first Fanfic EVER! If it sucks.. Im sorry. Lol. Its just a one shot Delena fanfic and takes place after Stefan has gone off with Klaus. So.. enjoy..
"Can't you at least try? Please Elena." Damon pleaded.
"Damon. You know I love him. I care about you I do. But, Stefan, I just-" Elena was cut off by Damon closing the little distance between them and kissed her. She slowly pulled back, eyes wide in shock. What had just happened? Why did she.. like that? Sure she had kissed Damon before but, that was different, TOTALLY different.
"Elena?" Damon looked her over with concern. And fear? Of what? Her turning and running. Yeah that was it. He knew that she would turn and leave him. He just knew it. What was he thinking? He couldn't just kiss her and think she would fall for him. Or would she? No, he knew the answer to that. They stood in silence Elena just looking at Damon. And it was killing him, not hearing what she had to say about his action.
"Why?" Elena asked. Her voice sounded shaky.
"Which part. Why this kiss? Or, why do I constantly think about you?" Damon responded.
"Both. I want an answer to both of those." She said taking a step back from him.
Damon stepped forward and took both her hands into his own and starred into her eyes.
"Because I love you." Elena gasped. She could hear the seriousness in his voice. The way his eyes locked her in her place, not allowing her to move. She had to do all she could to not look away from him.
"I don't understand. I love Stefan, but what I'm feeling now-" She stopped mid sentence not knowing exactly what she could say to the vampire in front of her. "I want him back Damon. You know I do. So why do you keep doing this to me?" she asked.
"And what is it that I'm doing exactly?" He tilted his head slightly to the side staring deeper into her eyes. He truly felt something for Elena Gilbert and he was tired of his brother always getting what HE wanted, Elena's heart.
"You make me feel like I'm going to betray Stefan at any minute to be with you. And I wish I knew how to fix it." She said gently. But those words hurt Damon.
"Thanks for letting me know." He dropped her hands and walked past her to leave. Elena didn't know what to think now. She had already lost Stefan, she didn't want Damon gone too.
"Damon wait!" Elena yelled to him. She turned and walked rather quickly toward him. He stopped and slowly turned.
"Wha-" He started. Elena kissed him. She wanted, no NEEDED Damon. After he pulled himself out of his shock he kissed her back and they did so for several minutes before Elena finally pulled back.
"I love you too." She said, as she nuzzled her face into Damon's neck.

AN: Was it bad? I know that it was really short. But I couldn't really think of much to put after that. And everytime I would type something down it just didn't sound right. So I decided that was good enough for the ending. So what did you think about me first? PLEASE TELL MEE! :D REVIEW!
