A Minutemans story
So, I've been in the minutemen for around a year or so but I've never been in action before. Little did I know that this was going to change really fast.
My name is Zach Johnson and I am 18, I have brown hair and blue eyes. I'm not a huge fan of socializing with others so I'm really awkward around people as you probably guessed already. I am pretty small for my age allowing me to fit in smaller areas which is nice if I want to get away from the others for a bit. My friends and I aren't assigned to a particular squad yet so we just kinda hang around. Anyway onto the story
We're hanging around in the courtyard doing whatever. I'm leaning against a tree, my buddy Sid is hanging off said tree in front of me, Carl isn't impressed by that and has his face in a book, Andrew is laying on the ground staring at the sky and Samantha ( Sam for short) is tossing a coin. "Heads or tails Z?" Sam asks me and I just mumble "tails" with a hope she would shut up because hey I lost again. Just as we were about to start arguing a courier ran up to us and quickly said " Zach, Sid, Carl, and Samantha right? Good, you are to report to Lt Black of Foxtrot squad." And with that he ran off to do some else. "As if this day couldn't get friggin worse" Andrew mumbled and walked off to get to our destination. We all chased after him.
By the time we caught up with him he had his hand up ready to knock on the door. The door opened and the Lt just said "new guys right? Come on everyone else is gathering for briefing.". lets just say I wasn't expecting to hear what was next
" Ok, I'll make this is quick so you can get ready, the general has decided to wipe out all the raiders in the amusment park called nuka world. We, along with the other three squads are to assist with the invasion. Now go get ready for the battle, dismissed.". as we left I leaned in and whispered " finally some action, bet I'll get the most kills." Which caused Sid to reply with a snort of " yeah right, I'llleave you in the dust".
