Prologue: A Thirst for Suffering

The time came. But there was no motivation. He couldn't really understand it. The pain was unbearable but of worst of all….. his pride was in the most pain. The seeping bleeding feeling that not even he…. A lord of Darkness could repair so easily. He thought back to it. He didn't quite remember how long it had been…. But he wanted to taste it. That feeling knowing their loved ones were in pain, and there was nothing they could do to stop the plans he intended to put in place. A grim smirk came into his face. But it would not be such a simple task… would it. Them foiling his former plan was NOT in the schedule at all. The figure twiddled his fingers for a minute as he basked in the bright light.

"They saw right through my plan. I was a fool to underestimate them then." He blinked. "Why did I think I could dispatch them so easily?" he took a light breath. The three girls. Pink. Blue. Green. What were their little groups name again? It had happened all so fast back then….. he couldn't even remember who or what their single, respected, individual names were. Not that he knew them well then. But he'd remember. And that's when he would plan it all out. The destruction of the three, seemed so delightful, but he stopped. No. That would not make them suffer, and pay for their crimes. He thought for a minute. Ah yes. The old strategy of making their loved ones the ones he targeted…. Brilliant. But first he had to take a trip to Townsville. A trip he hadn't done in three long years. Once there he had some studying to attend to. With a light cackle he decided….. After these long three years stuck in this state of mind.

He would make sure… it would all be put into place. But first, he had a city to travel to. So that is when the figure stood from the bright white field. And walked over. Soon…. He was gone. Whoever he was. He would have his revenge. On the Powerpuff Girls.

AUTHORS NOTE: Well there's your first taste of my first PPG fanfic in a long time. Give me a review or two and tell me if you want to read more. And yes, it's a Prologue; so it's short.
