Meeting of Student and Mentor
They were now back in Titans Tower from their trip to Tokyo, Japan and it was official – Robin and Starfire had gotten together. It was night and Robin spotted a shadow at the top of the Tower.
After getting inside Robin headed straight to the tower and to the roof. He spotted a figure wearing a black cloak and a black mask with pointy ears.
"How did you find me?" Robin asked the figure as he approached it. The figure turned to reveal Batman Robin's mentor.
"Find you, I never lost you." Batman replied facing his adopted ward "I have been keeping an eye on you since before you helped form the Titans and I have stopped foes back in Gotham from finding you."
"How come you never helped us against our enemies like Slade?" Robin asked.
"I had wanted to but I decided it was for your own good that you had to face problems like that on your own, I'm sorry..." Batman said only to be cut off by Robin.
"Don't be you're right, I had to face them though I had my friends to help..." Robin said only to realise something "what are you doing here?"
"To give you this." Batman replied giving him a box and then he said "You may need it when you decide you don't want to be the Boy Wonder anymore."
Robin took the box as Batman said "good luck with Starfire."
As Batman then used his grappling hook to go away Robin said to himself "of course, he would know about us..."
He then realised Starfire was now behind him who asked her new boyfriend "Robin who was that?"
"An old friend!" Robin replied as he decided to open the box which revealed a black costume with a blue symbol on it and a blue eye mask.
Starfire gasped remembering this was the costume Nightwing wore when she went into the future.
As he got back to the watchtower of the Justice League Batman was now looking at the surveillance system of the Titans Tower the watchtower that he had installed when it was built.
Then came his fellow teammate and now secret girlfriend Wonder Woman (who had finally managed to crack the bat's shell).
"Bruce how is Dick?" asked Wonder Woman talking about her future adopted son by marriage (in her mind anyway).
Bruce smiled as the cameras showed Robin and Starfire in eachother's arms kissing.
"With her by his side he will be just fine!"
Yeah I had been a Robin and Starfire shipper since I started watching the show and even today to me Starfire is the best love interest for Dick Grayson (in the comics they almost married...wish they didn't do almost!)
