Kaminari was bored. No, bored wasn't enough to describe how he felt in the middle of English. He was beyond his limits of Present Mic's explanation of the proper pronouncement of his favorite musicians. It was supposed to be a fun session after having gone through midterms and a manner of becoming globally cultured. Unfortunately, there were times that even Kaminari could tell Present Mic was... a little off with his English.

He looked over at Ashido and she was, as expected, knocked out. He then turned to his left and saw that the only person actually enjoying the session was Jirou. Well, he wasn't sure if she was amused by the topic or if she knew more about the artists than the teacher and was entertained by his failed efforts.

Kaminari sighed and rested his cheek onto the palm of his hand. He could see the small smirk forming on her face, as though she was using a decent amount of effort from letting it turn into something more.

Maybe she would feel bad if she laughed out loud?

He then recalled the time she corrected Midnight's pronunciation of a Western hero during History class.

Nope, she's just enjoying this too much.

Kaminari snorted as he looked back at the teacher and the guy was definitely off on a tangent now about British bands versus Americans bands.

Watching Jirou was definitely more interesting. For one, she wasn't twirling her ear jack so it gave him a minute to actually look at them. Kaminari has been poked by them plenty of times to remember the slightly cold metal he would feel every time the jack landed on him. He never really thought about how thin and slender the cord of her ear was as he slowly followed it up to her face.

She must have put in a lot of practice to get them to be as precise as they are because they never seemed to miss their mark.

At that point, Kaminari couldn't really keep his own head up anymore as he laid it down onto his desk and focused in on Jirou's face. Even though he saw her every day, Kaminari had failed to notice how delicate her features were. For instance, he missed out on the fact that her eyelashes were long and curled at the end. Her chubby cheeks looked so smooth that he just wanted to hold her face in his hands, which led his eyes down to her lips. Her soft, pink lips. Jirou was definitely…

"Cute?" Kaminari questioned out aloud.

"Kaminari," Present Mic interrupted his thoughts as the teacher cut off his view." Save the flirting for after class. Besides, a cool dude shouldn't embarrass their crush in the middle of class like that!"

"Wait! You got it wrong!" Frazzled, Kaminari looked back at Jirou who was completely red.

It seemed like most of the class was cheering with the exception of a couple of whistles. He smacked his head into the desk trying to hide from the pestering whispers that started.

I was just thinking out aloud, damn it!

Kaminari made sure that Present Mic had his back turned before trying to sneak peek at Jirou. She was staring down at her desk so her hair covered most of her face. But, he could still see that her ears wiggling about as though they were alive on their own. His classmate rarely ever got embarrassed so this was a treat.

Okay, she is cute when she's not making fun of me. But, that doesn't mean I have a crush on her! Its just that… that...

Kaminari was stumped. Jirou was probably one of the coolest people he knew. Aside from knowing everything relevant to music, she always had something interesting to talk about and it's not like she teased him all the time. Even when she'd laugh at him for short circuiting, she never seemed to leave his side until he was back to normal. Jirou cared about him in her own way.

So maybe, he did have a valid reason for having a tiny crush on Jirou.
