Author's Note: I'm proud to have seen The Avengers and loved it to death (if you haven't seen it, it's worth the time :D). If you've seen this movie, you'll probably know what the story is detailing.
Enjoy!
P.S.: After consulting a food guide at the library, it said that shawarmas come from Turkey.

Sadiq Adnan stared at the wreckage on the street his shop laid. As he turned around, his heart fluttered a bit as he saw his place was, at least, still intact, though the overall repair price for the building was going to be staggering.
Sighing to himself, he wandered back into the restaurant and ordered his kitchen crew to clean the area.
"It's not like a customer is going to come into this wreck at this hour," he mused to himself as he sat at the counter and stared at the door.

After waiting a couple of hours, Sadiq sighed as he saw that his premonition was true.
"Nobody's going to come now," he said to himself as he got up and headed for the door with a key. However, as he was about to close up his establishment, he saw six people emerge from the dust surrounding the city.
"I told you the place was here," the Turk heard the man with a glowing chest say to a blond, long-haired individual in armor.
Dropping his keys at the strange sight, Sadiq quickly rushed back into the kitchen and order his staff to get ready.
"Customers are here!" he cried out triumphantly as the six suited people entered into his restaurant.

"How can I help you today?" Sadiq said in a professional tone.
The man with the glowing chest smiled back.
"Six beef shawarmas please," he answered as he shoved a wad of cash in the Turk's direction.
As Sadiq tried to give his guest the appropriate change, the man held a hand up.
"Keep it," he told him with a small grin.
Sadiq seated the six individuals, who silently walked over to a table that wasn't totaled in the destruction, and went back to the kitchen to retrieve their piping-hot shawarmas. After that, he then backed away as the six people ate their dish in silence.
As Sadiq moved toward the kitchen, he smiled as he heard one of the men comment on the food.
"Yum," the Turk heard him say amidst the lip-smacking of himself and his comrades.
"So that's what it tastes like."
