Dismantled
"Have you seen my hairdryer?" I asked, my hand closing around empty air. Turning around, I saw was his guilty look turn into an innocent one. He really was
bad at lying. "What do you think you are MacGyver?"
"What? What are you talking about?" Rodney exclaimed, his voice betraying him.
I stared him down. That was my favorite hairdryer, mostly because it was my only hairdryer.
"Well, I may haved accidently dismantled it..."
I raised an eyebrow. Don't think he was going to yet away with this.
"Well, I really was for a good cause."
"Really. Explain it to me." He pouted a little, before launching into a explanation. He had to pout! He had to know I was sucker for his pouts. He looked like a little boy, all vulnerable and cute. Damn.
"It's just that Atlantis didn't have the materials I needed. Your hairdryer was needed in a very important project which I can't disclose the contents of to you."
"Rodney, there is no secret information on Atlantis. We are on Atlantis! On another planet. In another galaxy. Nothing is more secret than that!" I exclaimed, exasperated and a bit curious.
'Well..."
"Rodney?" If I were Teyla or Ronon, I might hit him with some bantos rods. That didn't seem like a bad idea at the moment.
"I can't tell." He pouted even more.
"Rodney." I frowned and he sighed.
"Fine. But, it's not your fault you ruined your own surprise."
"Surprise?" I asked, even more perplexed than before.
"Don't tell me you forgot your own birthday!"
