Some time together
A warm breeze blew over Jill as she sat in her small beach chair, dressed in a light blue bikini. She was at one of those picturesque beaches, complete with sailboats on the horizon and palm trees swaying. She sighed and let her muscles go slack. This was day number three of the break from work at the BSAA. Of course, she had someone with her. Without him it would be lonely.
Behind her, Chris dozed in a rope hammock. He had his green swimming trunks on(with classic tropical flowers on them); they had gone swimming earlier, briefly. They planned to go again too, later. The water was warm and pleasant. They would go around twilight. The air would be chilly, giving an excellant contrast to the water.
Jill stood. Within a few steps, she was standing besides Chris. Gently, she drew a hand down his chest. He grunted without opening his eyes. "What?"
"Make a sandcastle with me," she stated, pinching his side.
He grunted again and grabbed half-heartedly at her hand. He just managed to catch it, but she pulled it free. "No."
"Why not?" She took his hand and splayed his fingers, matching them to each of hers.
" 'm sleeping."
She let his hand fall and poked at his stomach. "Please?"
"Why?"
She sighed. "I'd like you to be awake for at least part of our vacation."
"I will be a little later..." he trailed off, fully ready to fall back asleep. She sighed again. "Why don't you lay with me?"
"Only if you promise to build a sand castle with me later," she bargained. He opened his eyes a slit and met hers. She bit her lip as he studied her face, gradually moving down to look at the rest of her. He loved every inch of her body. She had a firm muscular stomach, and slender curves. True, there were multiple scars on her perfect skin, but he didn't care. He could name where she had gotten each one.
"Fine." Chris grunted as she sat on him. "Jill..." he complained. She just smiled as she swung her legs up to rest on his. Gently, she rested her back on him. He slid an arm around her waist and she pushed her forehead against his cheek and lower neck.
"You need to shave," she whispered. He mumbled something in reply but she didn't pay attention. She was too busy being lost in the warmth of him. Because at the moment, they were no longer the best BSAA agents fighting against the remnants of Umbrella.
No. At the moment they were just Chris and Jill spending some time together, without having to fight monsters.
