Yet another Takari.... For all you Taiora fans and Mimato fans, I'll get on it. So don't
worry about it. And now here is my 2nd songfic attempt. Enjoy.
It was the junior high dance, and TK was just coming in. Man I hope I'm not too
late. I just missed 30 minutes of it though, so I'll just enjoy the last hour nad a half. I
feel so dorky in these clothes. He had on a hawaiian shirt to go with the theme of the
dance and he had put on a pair of khaki baggy shorts to go with it. He was only wearing
it to get a good grade though, the shirt not the shorts. Then he saw Kari. She had on a
red dress and sandles. She even had a flower in her hair. She was walking over to him
with one of those flower necklaces and put it over his head saying "TK, I wondered
where you were." Then the DJ began playing a song. "Oh, I love this song." Kari said.
"C'mon, let's dance." Kari grabbed his hand. "Okay..." Tk said.

They went onto the gym floor where veryone else was dancing. "Um, I don't exactly
know how to dance to this...I'm more of a fast dancer." TK said. "I'll teach you. Here,
put your hands on my sides." TK was a little scared at first, but did so anyways. She
then put her hands on his shoulders and came closer to him. "Now just follow along."
And though we are a world apart

"You're doing alright. Just relax though." Kari said to him. "Hey, this is easy."
TK said. "See aren't you having fun." She then looked up at him. He had gel in his hair.
How cute she thought with a giggle.

"What?"He asked. "Nothing, it's just where's your hat?" Kari asked with a
smile. "Mom said I shouldn't wear it. She even made me gel my hair." "It doesn't look
that different actually. But atleast it isn't all messed up like Tai's hair." They both
laughed. "Well, you look nice." TK said blushing a little. "Yeah, I bet you never
thought you'd see me in one of these, huh?" Kari said coming closer to him.

"So, how many dance offers did you get?" TK asked. "Oh, Davis asked me to
dance a few times, and I did just to be polite. Then you came in... I think this one is a
little more fun." "Why?"

"Well...." "I think this is my favorite dance too....."He said. "How would you

The song began to come to a close. TK continually looked down at his dance
partner. She was so beautiful. She looked up at him and knew what was on her mind
instantly. He began to come down closer to her as she began to stand up straighter.
Their lips met. He didn't care if anyone saw them. Neither did she. And tonight, they
knew, there would be a spot for each of them in their hearts as the song had stated.
