ANOTHER Starfire/Slade, fic, Secret Starr?! HONESTLY! Who would ever read such a thing!? Anyway, I'm back with a vengeance for this couple! Long live Starfire/Slade!!
WHEN DARKNESS CONSUMES LIGHT
Darkness.
Quiet, perceiving darkness.
Starfire could see nothing. Only the gleam of the mask she had come to know so well.
"Slade." She said, quietly, to not disrupt the silence around them, the engulfing, chocking silence.
"You're late, child." A light turned on behind her, enough to make her see more of the glimmer of his armor
She kept walking, forward to her goal, her destination, to him.
Slade.
She felt his armor on his shoulders first. He would then do what he would always give her the pleasure of doing.
She removed his mask.
Starfire had never asked to see Slade's face. It didn't seem important when most of what they did was in the dark.
Running a hand through his hair, which was smooth and warm between her cold hands, He kiss her.
She didn't put up much of a fight.
The darkness once again covered the two as Slade impatiently forced his mouth into hers. She fought back with him, each fighting for dominance.
Slade would win, Starfire would win. Sometimes it was a draw and other times they just gave up all together.
Giving an impatient grunt, Slade started taking off his arm armor, and Starfire took this as a cue to take off her gloves.
There would be no draws, no giving up. Tonight was a fight for dominance.
---
"Child."
"Slade."
"Have you ever wondered what I look like?"
She hesitated, gently running her chilled fingers down the middle of his chiseled chest and abs, enjoying it when he gave the shyest of quivers.
"No."
"Lair."
He ran his fingers along her arm, feeling her flex from the warmth that radiated off from him.
"You would never show me anyway."
"Never?"
"Never."
"Would you like for 'never' to be now?"
Starfire sat up from their laying position.
"It can wait."
"Child." He replied, shushing her gently, sitting up to hold her in his tight grip. "I want to. I know you."
He leaned into her ear, biting it sweetly, before saying, "I love you."
Shivers consumed Starfire's body. A moment passed, then a minute. She controlled her shaking body and Slade loosened his grip in the slightest.
"Ready?"
She exhaled her held breath, nodding her head against his face.
Starfire could tell that even through her closed eyes, the lights were on.
Warm fingers were prying her face away from his neck, gently. Sweetly, even.
"Open your eyes, Child."
Her eyes fluttered open, looking upon a face she had never seen, yet grown to love.
They gazed at each other, and Starfire sealed it all with a kiss as Slade once again turned off the lights.
