"Kennedy we have another assignment for you."

He groaned inwardly, he could only imagine what he was being assigned too now…maybe if he was lucky it was a flesh eating virus that had developed a host body to control and vomit on everyone. He turned to face his boss, a rather fat graying man that was too fond of dress shirts and ties…and not showering or changing his shirts for days a time. His co-workers had made a game of trying to identify what he ate by the stains on his shirt.

"Yes sir," he replied trying not to breathe too much, the man smelled like McDonald's trashcan.

"You and Johnson—"

"Johnson?" he demanded cutting his boss short.

"Yes Kennedy, Johnson." He glanced over at the agencies only female agent. She was bent over her desk writing something.

He pressed his lips together; he and Johnson didn't exactly get along…

'This isn't high school,' he thought.

"Listen I know your still asshurt about what she did to you, but she's the only agent we have that speaks Spanish—"

"Spanish?"

"Yes Kennedy…Spanish…¿Cómo estás?" he leaned back and hefted his pants. "You and Johnson come into my office in thirty I'll fill you in there; this is top secret hush hush."

With that he waddled away.

He shook his head and turned back to his files, the girl annoyed the piss out of him…

"Mr. Kennedy,"

He jumped slightly cursing himself for being so paranoid, then again who wouldn't be if you faced off with an army of zombies? He looked up to find Johnson staring down at him, her silver wire rimmed glasses reflected the florescent lighting hiding her eyes behind a white glow, her shoulder length auburn hair fell around her face in tangled curls, she stood stiffly with her arms crossed and her lips pinched into a thin annoyed line.

"Since we're going to be ah…partners, very soon I figured it was only proper that was introduce ourselves, seeing as our first meeting wasn't exactly ideal," she said holding out her slim hand to shake his. "I'm Abbi Johnson."

He shook her hand briefly she had a strong grip, "Leon Kennedy."

She nodded, "Nice to meet you Mr. Kennedy, I guess I'll see you in the boss's office soon."

She walked briskly away without a backwards look leaving a trail of familiar smelling flowery perfume in her wake.
