A Small Sacrifice For Sugar

Summary: a cute little Rin and Sesshoumaru fanfic where Rin meets this fat kid in a clearing of a small forest. She runs back to Sesshoumaru while the boy follows her. Rin sees what she wants from the boy and Sesshoumaru does Rin a big favor. A big favor for something sweet. Read, enjoy, review!

"Rin, I'm going to be gone for a while to gather food. Stay close to camp until I return." Sesshoumaru instructed Rin as he was getting up to leave.
Rin waved goodbye as she saw Sesshoumaru in a distance. As soon as he was out of sight, Rin ran to a nearby clearing that was covered in beautiful flowers.
She decides to pick some while she waits for Lord Sesshoumaru's return. As she was going deeper within the small clearing, Rin heard a rustling noise. Rin turned her head towards the sound and noticed that is was a boy, no older than she was.
Rin picked her flowers and ran back to camp. Half-way there, Rin glances back and notices that the boy was following her! She speeds up a bit, when she sees Sesshoumaru walking towards her.
"SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!!!!" Rin yells happily as she ran and hugged Sesshoumaru's knee.
"Are you alright, Rin?" Sesshoumaru asks while looking down at Rin.
"Yes, I'm fine now, Seeshoumaru-sama." Rin replies, still hugging Sesshoumaru's knee. Rin steals a glance to her right as she notices that the boy was just staring at the two while having something sweet in his mouth...a lollipop.
Letting go of Sesshoumaru's leg, Rin just stares at the kid while the boy enjoys his sweet treat.
Sesshoumaru looks over at Rin and sighs. 'So...Rin wants that?' Sesshoumaru questioned in his mind as he was referring to the boy with the lollipop.
Sesshoumaru walks over to the boy while at the same time, gathers up an enormous amount of energy within his right hand. As he moved his arm up, Sesshoumaru unleashed his lightning whip on the kid; slashing the boy's head clear off his shoulders. In doing so, Seeshoumaru grabs the lollipop and immediately hands it to Rin.
"KYAAA!!! Thank you, Sesshoumaru-sama!!!" Rin said happily as he took the lollipop with grace and popped it in her mouth (after she cleaned it off with water because of all the blood that was on it) and danced happily.
Sesshoumaru sighs and whispers: "How I come to never really understand the joy that humans get worked up about as something simple as a lollipop." He looks over at Rin and smiles. Sesshoumaru was happy that Rin was happy and finished preparing dinner.
