She wasn't sure how she got here, she had gotten lost in Ashenvale and now she had wandered into Warsong Gulch. The little Night Elf girl named Katrina heard screams of death, rage and terror. She crawled behind a log and laid low.
She heard a shout of triumph from the horde's side. The alliance was slaughtered. The horde was now leaving through the path on the side of the battleground. Then she heard it, the rustling of the leaves on the ground. The horde had sent someone to kill any alliance that might have escaped. She heard the rustle coming closer and closer until an undead walked around the log and saw the little girl. The undead rogue had a razor sharp sword slung across his back, a wicked looking dagger at his side that was permanently stained with blood but he had ocean-blue eyes instead of glowing yellow or no eyes at all. He knelt down beside her and said, "Where is your home?" She didn't think that undead could speak their language. She pointed north and said "far". The undead produced a knapsack with enough food to last a week and a blanket. He said, "Go to your home", he called his steed and rode back down the path back to the Warsong encampment.
Years have passed since that day; Katrina found her way back to Auberdine and was now a rogue and a proud warrior of the alliance. She had fought in every battleground and in every battle she triumphed and took better equipment from her enemies and more trophies.
One day she was called to fight in the Arathi Basin, the alliance were going to lose the front and if something was not done quickly the other battlegrounds, starved of resources, would surely fall. Katrina had already killed dozens of horde in this battle but the alliance was still losing, she needed to obtain an item capable of decimating all horde in the basin.
She snuck up to the lumber mill to see an undead, severely injured sitting against the wall. She sensed the power in his hood, it practically radiated powerful magic. She snuck up behind him and stabbed him in the chest. He made a gurgling sound and slumped to the ground, never to rise. She was careful taking off the hood, she didn't want to damage it. As she slipped it off his face she saw a pair of ocean-blue eyes.
The End
