Why do caged birds sing?
Caged birds sing because they wish for freedom. To fly on the gentle breeze; soaring above the clouds and trees. They sing a song of sad beauty. The song of captivity.
River was the same she was not supposed to in captivity. River did not sing, she wrote about her when she was free as a bird.
