A Tribute To Luna Lovegood

There's always a problem with being different. In most peoples minds if you don't follow the same rituals and customs your wrong supposedly. There are so many ways you could stray from the norm. It could be style, the way you speak, your actions towards others, difference in ability or endless other things. Others will give you a label. It could be weird, freak, loser or in my case most often loony. They think these insults will somehow make their own way of life better because they are not the ones in your place.
I personally love being around this kind of people. The looks on their faces when you do something particularly odd are priceless. They usually shake it off with an insult but the fact is that it still bothered them. How many times have people like that had an original idea they squashed because they were afraid of others reactions.
Me I like to dress with my own kind of flair giving people airy answers to their questions that will leave some dazed. My mother is dead and my father runs a magazine. I like it because of its own sense of strangeness. It tells another point of view of the world. IT has crossed my mind that even in the magical setting in which we witches and wizards are placed so few have a true imagination.
People can give you the most interesting reactions to the simplest of things. It doesn't really take much to get a reaction. You can stare at someone and they could be creeped out or they could get angry. Some people could think your in love with them others might assume your unstable. Most people are creatures of habit and once used to something find it difficult to change.
I am in Ravenclaw the house in which most people are deeply absorbed in gaining knowledge and reading. It is often wrongly thought that my house should somehow be wiser. Underneath their bookworm exterior the people in my house are the same as anyone else. They date and gossip just trying to live their lives.
I like being me. So you can tease me, take my things, say all the most awful things but you wont truly see my outlook on life and that's probably for the best. I doubt most of you could handle it. My name is Luna Lovegood and have you ever seen a Crumple-horned Snorlack. I have.
AN: I haven't written a fanfiction in awhile and have little interest in doing so. I like reading fanfiction and only wrote this because I was bored and had trouble finding a good story one day. So review if you want but if you could mention a really good story you've read when you do to make me happy. Oh and no boring romances.
