Paige had spent the day in the tiny kitchen of her tiny LA apartment. She was trying to perfect her soufflé before she would have to recreate it for her final assessment tomorrow. Her kitchen was an absolute mess, cracked egg shells had fallen to the floor, the jar of sugar had been knocked to its side sending sugar sliding across the bench. She had flour in her hair, apron and speckled on her face. Paige picked up the recipe for the hundredth time in the last 5 minutes, mumbling to herself about why the soufflé just wasn't rising. She was pulled from her thoughts by a knock at the door.

Since she moved to LA she hadn't met many people and the people she had met certainly weren't the type to make house calls at three in the afternoon. Confused and slightly curious she answered the door. "Hi my name is Walter, I'm a Foxtel representative. Have you had Foxtel before?" Paige smiled and nodded, "yes". This man was tall and he had dark curly brown hair that she would have loved to have run her hands through. His deep brown eyes made her nervous, but in a good way. This man was gorgeous. "Oh you have, great, how long ago was this?" Paige snapped back to reality when he spoke again "huh?" he smiled. "How long have you had Foxtel?" He repeated he question, only now noticing the flour on her face he began to laugh. Flustered and confused Paige attempted to answer his question, she was thrown off by his laughter and was unable to form a coherent sentence. "oh…I…um…well" realising her confusion about his laughter he leaned forward to wipe the flour from her face. Red lights began flashing in her head, His hand is soft! His hand is touching you! He's politely laughing at you! PAIGE HE'S FLIRTING! Her face flushed pink when his hand was pulled back to his side, she laughed nervously. "There was flour on your face" he said with a smile, visibly trying not to laugh at her again. His deep voice was somehow soothing and her embarrassment subsided, but only momentarily before she realised that the cute Foxtel guy thought she owned a Foxtel unit.

Paige tried unsuccessfully to answer the rest of his questions without embarrassing herself. When he asked what type of Foxtel unit she has she told him that she couldn't remember because she had gotten rid of it. When he looked shocked and alarmed at her answer she couldn't help but laugh because he still looks cute. When he asked why she got rid of the unit, she struggled to think of an answer. "I spent too much time in front of the TV" she replied. It was his turn to laugh, "ahh zombie syndrome?" she blushed which only made him laugh more. "So I guess you aren't interested in our new offer?" he asked once they had stopped laughing. Part of her was screaming YES because she wanted him to stay and flirt with her. He was totally flirting with her. She reluctantly and apologetically relied "no". "No worries, I'll let you get back to the baking" she nearly died when he winked at her "have a good afternoon". Paige smiled and closed the door as he walked away, she leaned back grinning like an idiot. She shook her head ashamed of how embarrassing she had just been. It was fairly safe to say that the cute Foxtel guy had made Paige's day a thousand times better.

A few hours later when Walter had finished his door knocking he thought about the girl in the blue polka –dot apron with flour on her face. He kicked himself for not getting her number.

Disclaimer: I don't own any rights to Walter or Paige. CBS Scorpion does.

I'm aware that Foxtel is Australian but I don't know what the American equivalent is, I'll fix it when I find out :)
