Feeling Lonely
Katherine Pryde sat in the living room staring blankly at the many couples passing by or cuddling on the couch. The most disturbing probably being Scott and Jean acting 'mature and professional' while talking and staring. Kitty wished Rogue was sitting with her, she would tell her all the things wrong with the Redhead and Fearless Leader. They would probably both burst out laughing within seconds and get glared at, but Rogue was with Remy. Yet another couple.
Kitty scanned the room for someone not together, and came up empty handed. She suddenly felt very, very, very lonely. She didn't often feel it, but today both Kurt and Rogue were of on dates. Of course, Rogue had gotten an endless speech from Scott about 'dating the enemy'. All Rogue had done was roll her eyes at his attempt to make her stop dating Remy. If only Kitty and Lance had it that easy.
An idea suddenly hit her: Lance! She could go to the brotherhood for a while. Hell, she could probably even go live there considering no-one was fighting anymore. Since Apocalypse they had sort of got along, sort of. Of course Scott still hated Lance, and probably Pietro, and definitely Remy and…well, all the Brotherhood and Acolytes; not that any of them cared.
Lance was still calling the x-men x-geeks and she'd still glare at him but over all everyone was okay with the other teams, well…almost everyone! It was a good thing that the professor wasn't one of these people. He would totally allow her to stay at the Brotherhood! She could still go to school so it would be alright.

Shadowcat sprinted up the stairs phasing through anything or anyone that was in her way. She almost ran passed the door to the Professors office. She knocked on the door lightly and within a minute or so she got a 'come in Kitty'. The brunette did as she was instructed and stepped through the door.
"Professor, I was wondering if…" she trailed of feeling suddenly shy.
The Professor wiped away any doubt by calmly saying "Yes, I do believe it would be a good way to bring our teams together so therefore it will be good if you started to pack your bag."
Kitty beamed at him and left the room, sprinting to her own to pack.
